    How much drop or rise does the Shocker Impact combo ball mount offer?

    From 0″ of rise to 7″ of drop depending on the ball mount attachment used.  The combo mount is 3.5″ of rise and 3.5″ of drop.  The drop ball mount is 0″ to 7″

      A Yes, you want to try and keep the weight rating closest to what you have. The 8000lb rated hitch would be best suited for your 7000lb rated trailer.
