This includes the tow vehicle, receiver hitch, tow hitch, ball mount attachment, trailer coupler & the ratings of the trailer you are towing. Never exceed max for any of the components you are using.  If the coupler rating is 8,000 lbs and the hitch is 12,000 lbs, then don’t tow over 8,000 lbs.

    Note: Always use a good hitch ball with the proper recommended tow weight.

      The inside diameter is 3" for our pintle hooks.

      Our hollow receiver shanks have been tested and are rated appropriately. There is no difference that we ran across for the integrity of solid or hollow shanks.

      A The XR pintle mount with a 2 inch shank is rated for 12000 GTW with 1200 tongue weight. The 2.5 inch shank is rated at 16000 The 3 inch shank is rated at 20000
