This includes the tow vehicle, receiver hitch, tow hitch, ball mount attachment, trailer coupler & the ratings of the trailer you are towing. Never exceed max for any of the components you are using.  If the coupler rating is 8,000 lbs and the hitch is 12,000 lbs, then don’t tow over 8,000 lbs.

    Shocker XR Ball Mount Hitch Setup Installation Instructions

    Download the Shocker XR Series Hitch InstructionsInsert the shank of the hitch into the receiver of your tow vehicle. Make sure you are using the correct size shank to work with your receiver. Secure the hitch with a hitch pin. Adjust the ball mount attachment so your tow vehicle and trailer are level. You can flipped the XR frame around for more drop or more rise.
